2. Race Check-in
I will not make it in time for check-in. What should I do?
You must check in during one of the official check-in periods — either the day before the race or on race day morning.
Unfortunately, late check-in will not be accepted.

What should I do if I drop out of the race?
If you retire due to injury or health issues, please wait at the nearest aid station. A shuttle will take you to the finish area.
Do I need to carry all mandatory gear during the race?
Yes, all mandatory gear must be carried in your backpack. If you are found to be lacking any required items, you will be disqualified and unable to continue.
Can I continue running after the cutoff time?
No, if you exceed the cutoff time, you will be disqualified on the spot. Running beyond this point is not allowed for safety reasons.
Can I use trekking poles during the race?
Yes, trekking poles are allowed.
Is a hydration bladder acceptable for the required 1L of water?

Can I use an empty soft flask as my personal cup?

Yes. Yoraku-kan has a public bath and is open until 7:00 p.m.
