Echigo Country Trail 2025 has come to a close – and we’re happy to say it was a success!

A heartfelt thank-you to all the runners who took part, the local community members who cheered from the sidelines, and the amazing staff who supported the event behind the scenes. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

This year’s race took place under rainy and sometimes cloudy skies – not the best weather, but we’re relieved that everything went smoothly without any major issues.
With so many steep climbs and descents on the course, the wet and muddy conditions made it even more challenging than usual. We hope you’re giving yourself a good rest – you earned it!

If this race left you thinking “I’m glad I ran it” or “I’m happy I joined,” that would be the greatest reward for all of us involved in organizing the event.
