Inner fact top athlete. In Nicaragua(Central America ) where he had worked as a member of JACA, he found the attraction of trail running. To find more enjoyment, he has taken part in many trail races be held in not only Japan but all over the world. I often practice at Ojiya area in this Echigo country trail course.
Although, the course was rough due to typhoon in 2019 competition, we will make the course in order to everyone able to run happily in 2020 competition.
I am looking forward to many people entry.
Oguni town, Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture is the stage of ECHIGO COUNTRY TRAIL
Starting and finishing Oguni Forest Park, east is Oguni Pass, Shiroyama, and Ojiya City's Tokimizu / Hakusan athletic park. To the west is the highest peak of Mt. Hachikokusanin Oguni town.
These are the old mountain roads that connect the settlements that our ancestors used to walk in daily life.THE ECHIGO COUNTRY TRAIL is a trail running tournament that connects the magnificent muntain fields with a total length of 53 km and the settlements.
Courses are 53km, 15km and 2.5km. You can enjoy a wide range from professional runners to beginners and families.
First, everyone who participate as a runnner in ECHIGO COUNTRY TRAIL say like "The cheering is awesome, anyway." "I was able to run again thanks for everyone's cheers"
It's be a proudful parts of this tournament that a lot of runner become repeaters.
